Meet the Staff
Senior Pastor
Pastor Jeff & Rose Mantz

I was born and reared on a farm in central North Dakota. I accepted Christ as Savior at the age of six, baptized in the Holy Spirit at age 10, and called into full-time ministry at age 15. I graduated from McClusky High School in 1970 and received my ministerial license after graduating from Trinity Bible College. Rose and I were married while in Bible College and have served together in ministry for over 27 years. We have four beautiful daughters and five amazing grandchildren.
We have pastored over 18 years in Mandan ND, Platte SD, and here in Yankton. We have ministered as evangelists in music and preaching as well as having worked in specialized ministries such as Love Lines in Minneapolis MN, the Alpha Center and Sioux Falls SD, and as chaplain of the State Training School in Plankinton SD for five years.
We love it here in Yankton, and are excited about the awesome things God is doing here!
Children's Pastor
Pastor Randy and Kim Tramp

I was born in Sioux City, IA and grew up in Crofton, NE. Upon graduating from High School, I entered the U.S. Navy. It was during that time, upon the ocean, I gave my heart to Jesus and became "Born Again." That was May 23, 1983 and then November 27, 1983 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I heard the call of God into children's ministry in December of 1985. God taught me throughout my eight years of Navy life and twelve years of working for the Federal Prison System about the ministry and working with people.
Kim and I were married in 1980 and we have three children and 5 adopted children. We have fostered many children, and Kim has a daycare with many more children constantly running around our home. (We love it!) We enjoy children and we love them!
Spiritual Life/Health Ministries
Fred and Pastor Kathy Dehring
I grew up on a farm between Hurley and Parker, SD, and attended Hurley High School. After graduation, I moved to Yankton, which has been my home for the past 25 years. My husband Fred and I have four adult children, two boys and two girls.
The call to ministry on my life came in 1983 when I gave my life to Jesus, and was baptized in the Holy Spirit a month later. I was able to step further into that calling after the ministry of raising our children to adulthood was nearly completed.
I worked in various ministries in churches throughout the years. After completing studies through Global University (the correspondence arm of Assemblies of God), I joined the team at First Assembly as a staff Pastor in January 2001. Prior to that time, I also ministered as a hospital chaplain at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. I have also worked as a registered nurse in several areas of nursing. My deepest heart's desire is to see people's lives changed by the restoring, healing love and power of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am excited to be a part of this team at First Assembly in Yankton!
