First Assembly Life Group Leaders
We believe that connecting with others is VITAL to a healthy, fulfilled life. This is a recognized need in secular culture as well. This need is God-ordained, as He is relational in nature. In other words, God has "wired" us to need love and to love others. The New Testament church understood the dynamic of what we now call "life group". In Acts 2, it says, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (vs. 42)... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. (vs. 46-47)" We believe life groups will...

- Encourage inter-generational learning and relationships
- Strengthen the unity in the Body of Christ
- Raise up new leaders to fulfill the mission of First Assembly as God leads us into the future
