Home/Guest FAQ

Thank you for checking us out today! We know that when you’re looking for a new church, there are lots of questions. We want to answer any questions you may have and make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Below is a list of common questions and answers that will help you know what to expect when visiting. Of course, feel free to contact us directly anytime to ask other questions you may have.

Our greeters will meet you at the door to provide assistance if you have children, and to show you around. Then as our first time guest, if you’re able to come a little early, we would love for you to join us for Coffee Connection. Our youth ministry has a coffeeshop that is open on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights before service. Our guests receive a free drink on their first visit! From 9-10 am on Sundays, Coffee Connection is a time for people to hang out and visit before service. It’s a relaxed environment, open to everyone.
At First Assembly we try to focus more on the people than what they are wearing. Dress comfortably, and you will be fine.
Our Sunday morning service lasts between 75-90  minutes. Since you may find yourself meeting some new people and wanting to chat, plan for 90 minutes.
We generally worship with up-beat, contemporary Christian music. We try to sing a variety of worship music to keep things fresh and give variety, and we usually include a hymn as well. Click here to read more about our worship style.

We love kids at First Assembly! During the Sunday service, there is Adventure Kids Church for Preschool through 5th grade. Nursery is available for kids up to 3 years old during the whole service. We also provide a Nursing/Cry Room for moms that need to slip out with an infant, complete with closed circuit TV of the live service.

When you bring your kids to church the first time, we will have an Adventure Kids worker show you around to help you and your child get acclimated. Fortunately our church has a video surveillance system, and you can easily peek in on how your child is doing by viewing the monitor in our information window near the main sanctuary doors. See more about children’s ministry here.
Yes we do! On Wednesday nights, we have a full youth service for students that are in 7th through 12th grade. See more about One80 Youth Ministry here.
Absolutely! If you need a ride to church, we are more than happy to help you! Simply e-mail or call the church office and we’ll work something out.
