RUSH Young Adult Ministry
First Assembly has many specialized ministries to reach out to every age, stage, and walk of life!
This ministry targets young adults ages 18 – 25ish. We have college students, young married couples, single parents, as well as young adults who are working in the community. We also include seniors in high school who will be leaving the “youth group” scene very soon. The diversity of the group gives us our own unique culture within First Assembly and makes it easy for young adults in any walk of life to identify with us. RUSH stands for in the Race Urgently Seeking Him.
Our goal is to facilitate true fellowship, build close relationships with each other, reach out to young adults in our community – all denominations, and to seek after an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father, whatever the cost. We meet Sunday nights in Yankton and we get together once every couple months for pure fun. We also travel together to concerts or conferences when there’s something happening in our area.
